It is a typical hotel restaurant. It is expensive but the food is actually pretty good.
You have the Riverwalk Cantina, Texas Station, The Hickory Steakhouse, and Zepole which was under renovation. It is highly recommended to make reservations for large groups.
No, its a restaurant inside the Gaylord Hotel and its not anywhere near a train station.
No you don't
I know it's Sunday but no excuse to not have tables cleared and cleaned, 4 total and have been that way for the past hour. The Gaylord is better than this. Very disappointing. Oh, and the parking is horrible. Not only do they nail you for $16 but it took almost 15 mis to get out of the parking garage...never again!
Perfect meal for a perfect evening!
Food is average, but good bar.
There was a 20 min wait, even though half the bar was empty. I suspect they wanted to relieve some pressure on the kitchen. The service was good and the food was excellent. I've seen a lot of ppl here complain about the prices but I thought it was reasonable. If you order the Texas Red (bowl) it's a full meal for under $10.
We were there for a conference and the place was full. So understandably the service was very slow. I had the veggie burger which was good. The fries are excellent and I would definitely recommend it.
Decent sport bar. Lots of tvs around the restaurant. If you decided to go ask for patio seating it's more lively. Food is good and portions are huge.
Huge screen! I had the Texas Burger and it was good. Local beer and whiskey available. I had a delicious Herman Marshall Rye but it was expensive @ $18 for dram.
Great food but pricey. It is located inside the Gaylord so expensive was expected
Amazing place. Very kid friendly and nice restaurants
Good food and atmosphere. Bit pricey but then again, so is everything at the Gaylord.
My mother said they served the best Frito Pie she has ever had.
This large sports bar has excellent bar food, salads, bowls, and sandwiches. Watch sports on screens in every direction. One screen is the second largest in Texas.
A little pricey for a sports bar, but somewhat expected attached to a hotel. We had the pulled pork nachos and hot wings, both were very good.Wide TV options for your viewing pleasure!Staff was okay, nothing stellar nor bad.
A standard sports bar menu with an enormous big screen occupying one whole wall. In front of the screens are three rows of easy chairs. The rest of the bar is your standard sports bar. The service was quick the food a little disappointing but overall an okay place to visit.
The food was excellent, had meatloaf, mashed potatoes veggies. The waitress was cover someone who had to leave early's area too but it never felt like we were ignored or had to track anyone down. The fried apple pie was amazing and the Butterfinger cake was as well. We had kids and the kids menu was great hot dogs chicken fingers, ect.
Texan Station is a great place to quick bite to eat at the Gaylord Texan. I was a table for one and was seated promptly. I also eat gluten free, the menu has tons of options. I settled on the wings with the Texas BBQ sauce. Sweet and tangy wings are the best. Service was attentive but not overbearing. I'm here for the week and sure I'll be dining here again.
I went to this restaurant and sat at the bar. I asked the lady what was the fastest thing to order and she said the nachos. It came out in like 5 minutes. I was shocked and it was good. The problem is My meal was 32 dollars with a drink from the bar. I gave her a great tip and she charged my card incorrectly for $50. I left multiple messages and called multiple times with no response. I am very upset.
Food is pretty good. Service is horrible. Nate, the manager, makes the horrible service look spectacular. Had to beg for silverware after eating as much as we could with our fingers. Not one drink refill in over an hour. Got the cocktail ordered to begin with, once the food was gone. Gratuity of 18-20 percent forced due to party of 8! Concerns were addressed with Nate, the manager, who promised in a very condescending manner to “make note of it.” Shameful. Figured a Gaylord product would be way better!Jerry Amundsen.
Service was good, food took forever and was definitely not remotely worthy of the prices. $14.50 for a plate of 5 chicken tenders and no sides that looked and tasted like they came from a frozen box. Would not recommend.
Wow, there are some picky people reviewing this site. Be Prepared, it can get expensive, but that is true throughout the hotel. Its a resort, it will have a cost, but the value is there, and if you ask, the employees do have the ability to work with you. I enjoy watching games at Texan Station. Its a great atmosphere, good food, and comfy chairs. This is not where I would watch the game by myself, but it is great with friends or family. If you careful you can enjoy the hotel at a reasonable price. Reasonable for a resort anyway.
Food was tasty, great atmosphere will be back.
Very disappointing service. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and was mistakenly brought pulled pork in a cup. I told the waiter and he brought me a bun and put it on the table for me to make myself. I spent way to much for me to make my own sandwich.
We come here every year for the last six years for our anniversary and love it every year. This year is no different. We love it and have a great time every year. Darryl driving the tram was very entertaining. Ciara and Amber were fantastic waitresses in The Texan Station restaurant! We can’t wait til our next stay!
